If there is no oil on the tissue, you probably have dry skin.


Another way to identify your skin type is by examining the size of your pores. Oily skin typically has larger pores, whereas dry skin has smaller pores. Normal or combination skin falls somewhere in between.


Pay attention to how your skin feels throughout the day. If it feels constantly greasy, especially in the T-zone, it indicates oily skin. Dry skin may feel tight or rough, while normal or combination skin tends to feel balanced and comfortable.


Consider any specific skin concerns you might have. For example, if you often experience redness, sensitivity, or easily break out, you may have sensitive skin. If wrinkles and fine lines are a concern, it could indicate aging or mature skin.


Observe how your skin reacts to various products. If certain moisturizers or cleansers leave your skin feeling too dry or tight, it suggests dry skin. If products cause excessive oiliness or breakouts, it points towards oily or acne-prone skin.
